Information Technology Infrastructure Engineer in SPAIN

Reporting to Asendia’s Global IT Operations Manager, you will perform as a Information Technology Infrastructure Engineer . You will be in charge of leading and administrating policies, structure, tools, network, and services at Group level within public Cloud environment (AWS mainly, but not limited to) and involved in security and monitoring.

You will conduct your mission involving the subsidiaries of Asendia and will be joining an international team of specialists.


Your tasks

  • You maintain the network and Server infrastructure environment at Group level.
  • You maintain accurate departmental records, including hardware assets and licenses
  • Your manage Network Administration and support, Cisco Meraki
  • You install and configure operating systems and applications, monitor system backups and recovery
  • You develop, document installation, configuration procedures and network topologies
  • You follow-up of managed services suppliers
  • You are accountable for managing the Infrastructure workload and tickets in the ITSM tool.
  • Your provide support and manage IT operational security and you lead operationally
  • You organize and lead the infrastructure operational workload on a day to day basis.
  • You manage relationships with infrastructure vendors and take the lead, being the primary contact person


Your profile

  • Ideally you have a degree in computer Information System or similar
  • You have a degree/certification in network administration
  • You have 10 years of work experiences
  • You have knowledge of IT support organization, process and tools, ITIL Foundation certified.
  • You have a good knowledge of AWS Console management, Linux and Windows system admin skills, DB admin experience wished (Postgres, MySQL, ...)
  • You are autonomous, open minded, flexible.
  • You have organized and structured orientation, reporting and documentation approach
  • You have experience in multi-cultural and international environment
  • You have strong written and oral communication skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical audiences.
  • You are fluent in English, any other language is an asset
