Job Description
📍Eindhoven (5 days in office) | 🗓️ 40hrs per week
🚀 This is what you tell people at parties
We didn't become Europe's leading e-commerce shipping platform by playing it safe. Sendcloud powers 30,000+ online retailers, marketplaces, and fulfillment companies. Helping them ship smarter, grow faster, and actually get shit done for their customers. Boring logistics? Not here. We're building the platform that solves shipping, at scale, globally!
Internal IT is the backbone of how everyone at Sendcloud gets their work done — laptops that just work, access that's ready on day one, meeting rooms that connect on the first try. As we keep growing, we want workplace technology to stay reliable, secure and genuinely easy to use, so we're expanding the Internal IT team. This is a role where you'll learn quickly, get real ownership early, and see the impact of your work on every single colleague.
🧐 The Role
- As the Internal IT Engineer, you own the day-to-day running of our IT Service Desk — the first place colleagues turn when hardware, software or access gets in the way of their work.
- Keep our device fleet and workplace systems in good shape, from laptops and phones to meeting room tech and our collaboration tooling.
- Make onboarding and offboarding run like clockwork, so new joiners are set up on time and leavers are closed out cleanly.
- Work closely with People, Security and Office Management to keep access and workplace technology joined up across the business.
- Find the repetitive work and remove it — through automation, better documentation and simpler processes.
- Act as the first point of contact for hardware, software and access questions across the company, and troubleshoot them quickly.
- Own our IT Service Desk queue end to end, from triage to resolution, keeping colleagues in the loop along the way.
- Set new joiners up with the right devices, tools and access before their first day.
- Handle IT changes for role changes and offboarding, including account deactivation and equipment recovery.
- Manage our IT assets and keep inventory accurate, coordinating repairs, replacements and refreshes.
- Support day-to-day administration of Google Workspace, Okta, Slack and our device management tooling.
- Keep our application catalogue and access setup clean, current and easy to review.
- Automate or simplify repetitive manual tasks, and keep our documentation and self-service guides sharp.

Personally
- You get real satisfaction from unblocking people — a colleague walks away able to work again, and that's a good day.
- You're curious and hands-on: when something is clunky, you dig in and improve it rather than waiting to be asked.
- You manage your own time, tasks and mistakes, and you're open about it when something goes wrong.
- Hands-on experience in IT support, service desk or workplace IT — a completed ICT study is a plus, but practical skills matter more to us than the diploma.
- Fluent in English, written and spoken; Dutch is a strong plus.
- Already living in the Netherlands, and based in or willing to relocate to the Eindhoven area — this role is on-site.
- Confident troubleshooting hardware, software and account issues, including problems you haven't seen before.
- Nice to have: familiarity with MDM/endpoint management tools (Jamf, Intune, Kandji or similar), ITSM tooling (Jira Service Management, Zendesk or similar), basic scripting and automation (Google Apps Script, shell scripting, Zapier/Make), or exposure to access management and security hygiene practices.
