Senior AWS DevOps Engineer (£100,000 - £120,000 + bonus) The Technology Engineering team at a prestigious asset manager is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join them in reimagining their core infrastructure and enterprise platform technologies. Your role will be pivotal in creating scalable AWS-based solutions. Responsibilities: Engineer capabilities and functions that promote the adoption of enterprise platforms across the business, driving innovation. Guide decisions on platform and infrastructure upgrades, refreshes, and replacements. Lead or support incident response and problem-solving efforts in complex implementations and across multiple domains. Participate in continuous improvement efforts that span multiple functional domains, informing new standards. Enhance automation and documentation continuously, and mentor others on best practices in infrastructure automation. Requirements: Extensive knowledge and expertise in DevOps, particularly with AWS. Experience with container orchestration solutions (Kubernetes, ECS, EKS, Fargate). Hands-on experience with AWS, including designing, developing, and deploying cloud-based solutions. Strong foundation in infrastructure and systems engineering (Unix/Linux, networking, storage, monitoring). Experience in building system integrations and automation using Python, Ansible, Terraform (HCL).
