Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Unity engineer to join our core team and help bring our innovative ideas to life. Together, we aim to surprise the world. This position involves contributing to all elements of product development, from 0 to 1.

• Main Dev Language: C# (Unity)
• Task Management: GitHub

Responsibilities

• Guide or lead cross-disciplinary discussions to drive features from the initial concept of our new product to completion.
• Demonstrate expertise and take ownership in major areas of the codebase.
• Collaborate closely with the executive team, project managers, and design team.
• Mentor, motivate, and inspire junior engineers.

Requirements 🚀

Must-Have:

• Passion for the Japanese entertainment industry — anime, manga, gaming, VTubing... you must be an otaku!
• 4+ years of experience in developing complete applications using Unity for both Android and iOS, with a requirement that these applications have been successfully released. (Experience with hyper-casual games is not included.)
• Experience integrating external APIs (server-side) within applications.
• Development experience with a team of 3 or more members, including communication with product design, product managers, and business development team members.
• English fluency and Japanese fluency at N3 level or equivalent ability.
• Proficiency with tools like GitHub, Notion, GSuite, Microsoft Office, Slack, and Zoom.
• Japanese Level: Intermediate

Nice-to-Have:

• Familiarity with platforms such as App Store / Google Play.
• Knowledge of TypeScript (Node.js).
• Experience using Unity Addressable Asset System.
• Experience with Realtime Database or Cloud Firestore.
• Experience with Agora.
• Experience implementing functions that work with servers.
• Experience developing communication systems in standard web technologies, such as streaming services and network games.
