Job Description
About The Role
This is a rare opportunity to join a pre-seed AI startup at the very beginning as a Founding Engineer Intern. You'll build and ship features daily alongside the CTO, working on a fully agentic system that automates the talent-matching and headhunting process end-to-end. You'll have real ownership across the full stack — from ideation to production — and directly shape how the product evolves. The team operates in a high-velocity, founder-driven culture, including a hacker-house setup with flexibility for remote work.
This role is based in San Francisco, CA, with openness to working in hacker houses in Latin America. Visa sponsorship is available.
What You'll Do
- Build and ship end-to-end features to production on a daily cadence.
- Collaborate closely with the CTO and founding team to own components from ideation to deployment.
- Develop and iterate on a fully agentic AI system to automate talent matching and headhunting.
- Engage directly with users to measure impact on hiring speed and experience.
- Contribute to a fast, high-output, low-ego engineering culture.
- Work with a strong ownership mindset in a hacker-house/remote-forward environment.

Required:
- At least 6 months of hands-on experience with React and TypeScript in production environments.
- Experience with Cursor, Supabase, Prisma, and Typesense in a production React/TypeScript stack.
- Full-stack profile — not primarily an ML engineer, and not heavily siloed in a single stack (e.g., Python-only or C++-only).
- Currently enrolled in or pursuing a degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
- Strong ownership mindset with the ability to take features from idea to production independently.
- Experience working in entrepreneurial, scrappy, or fast-moving environments.
- Open to working in hacker houses in Latin America.
- Willing to work 7 days per week during the internship.
- Something outstanding about your profile — top GPA, strong university, notable personal projects, or an active GitHub.
