About Us
We build secure AI — and run our company on it.
True Tech Professionals designs, builds and runs governed AI products, with data security, evaluations and human oversight built in from the start. The proof isn't a promise: we run our own sales, staffing and operations on the systems we ship.
Founded in 2019 and based in Panchkula, we've delivered 66 projects across India, the USA, UK, Kuwait, France, Ireland and South Africa, and were recognised as a GoodFirms Top Software Company in 2021.
Five of our own AI products are live in production today:
- PipeAI — AI-powered B2B outbound revenue engine
- TrueNorth ATS — AI recruitment system running our own staffing operation, 33,000+ candidate profiles
- MyAiGuru — adaptive learning platform for CBSE grades 9–10, RAG-grounded on NCERT curriculum
- Ulqix BidEngine — AI bid intelligence for agency proposal generation
- Das Jyotish — Vedic astrology platform with a Swiss Ephemeris computation engine
These are real products with real users, real payments, and real consequences when something breaks. That's why we're hiring you.
The Role
Because we run our own business on these systems, a defect doesn't hit an abstract user — it hits our recruiters, our students, our payments. Governance and human oversight are core to how we build.
We already invest heavily in automated testing. TrueNorth ATS alone runs roughly 3,200 automated tests in CI — pytest suites plus AI evaluations that check our models' output quality, not just that an endpoint returned 200. Every change is gated on them.
What we don't yet have is a person who owns quality as their job. That's you.
You will be our first dedicated QA hire. The engineering discipline exists; what's missing is a dedicated owner to extend it — deeper browser-level coverage, and the same rigour applied consistently across our other products. You won't be executing a script somebody else wrote. You'll decide what our browser-level and cross-product coverage looks like, working alongside an engineering team that already takes testing seriously.
Important: you will not be able to test all five products at once, and we won't ask you to. You'll go deep on two to start, and expand as you build coverage.
What You'll Do
First 90 days — establish the manual layer
- Document the critical user journeys for your two assigned products (signup, payment, core workflow, admin)
- Build our first written regression checklist for the flows automation doesn't yet cover
- Run manual regression and exploratory testing on each release
- File clear, reproducible bug reports with correct severity and priority classification
- Verify fixes and confirm nothing adjacent broke

Months 4–12 — extend the automation
- Take ownership of browser-level end-to-end testing (Playwright), the layer above our existing pytest and eval suites. You don't need to write it on day one — we'll scaffold the first version and train you to extend and maintain it
- Own the pass/fail signal: triage failures, distinguish real bugs from flaky tests, escalate what matters
- Validate database state directly in Supabase/PostgreSQL using SQL
- Help extend our eval approach — judging AI output for quality and correctness — to products that don't yet have it
- Expand coverage to a third and fourth product
Ongoing
- Access control and data protection testing — verify that role-based permissions hold, that users can only reach their own data, and that personal information is handled correctly at every step. Our products hold candidate records and student data; this is not optional work.
- Cross-browser and mobile-responsive verification
- Payment flow testing (Razorpay) — subscriptions, upgrades, failures, edge cases
- Monitor Sentry for production errors and reproduce them
- Push back when something isn't ready to ship. That's the job, not a nice-to-have.
What We Need From You
Must have
- 1–2 years in a manual QA / software testing role on web applications
- Genuinely able to write test cases from a requirement, not just execute someone else's
- Solid bug reporting: clear reproduction steps, expected vs actual, environment, evidence
- Working knowledge of a bug tracker (Jira, Linear, GitHub Issues, or similar)
- Basic SQL — you can write a SELECT with a JOIN and a WHERE clause to verify data
- Comfortable with browser DevTools: console errors, network tab, inspecting requests
- Clear written English. You'll work asynchronously across a remote team; your bug reports are your primary output.
- Reliable internet and a quiet working setup
Strong plus
- Any exposure to test automation — Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium
- API testing with Postman or similar
- Experience testing payment integrations
- Familiarity with Next.js / React applications from a tester's perspective
- Any exposure to testing AI or LLM-powered features
What matters more than any of the above
Obsessive thoroughness. The instinct to try the weird input, the empty field, the double-click, the back button mid-transaction. We can teach you Playwright. We cannot teach you to care about the edge case that everyone else skipped.
Why This Role Is Worth Your Time
- You're joining a real testing culture, not creating one from nothing. 3,200 tests already gate our main product's CI. You'll extend that, with engineering support — not fight for permission to test.
- A real path into automation. We will actively invest in moving you from manual to automation ownership inside twelve months. That's the single highest-value skill jump available in QA, and most junior roles never offer it.
- You'll test AI systems. RAG pipelines, LLM-generated content, non-deterministic output. Testing systems that don't return the same answer twice is a genuinely rare skill and it is where QA is heading.
- You'll learn AI governance from the inside. Evaluations, access control, data protection, human oversight in the loop. As AI regulation tightens, testers who can speak to governance — not just functionality — become significantly harder to replace.
- Direct access to the founder. No layers. You'll see how product decisions get made.
- Fully remote, with real autonomy. We measure output, not hours logged.
- Reading carefully matters in this job. The reference code for the application form is TESTER-7.
