Job Description: HR Profile, a consulting firm specializing in recruitment and selection of professionals for the LATAM region, is seeking an Automation Developer for our client, a multinational company specializing in digital development and agile solutions, with operations in the USA, Chile, Mexico, and Colombia.
Objective: As an Automation Developer, you will develop, design, and implement cutting-edge automation solutions, tailored to meet the unique needs of our clients. By everaging advanced technologies, we aim to optimize operational processes and enhance energy efficiency.
Main Responsibilities
Develop implementation proposals for Building Management Systems (BMS) or Energy Management Systems (EMS) focused on commercial buildings, such as supermarkets, department stores, convenience stores, office buildings, banks, and more.
- Interact with field survey teams, lead the proposal engineering process, evaluate installation costs with
the operations team, hand over to operations, and provide support.
- Research and identify new devices, hardware providers, partners, and service providers to enhance the competitiveness of our monitoring solutions
- Support the evaluation of existing markets to identify growth potential and work to expand our presence in these markets
- Support the evaluation of the impact of automation on environmental sustainability, energy efficiency, and operational/maintenance efficiency.
It Will Be a Good Match If You Have
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field.
- Experience: 2 to 6 years of experience in automation sales or a related field.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing industrial automation systems.
- Solid knowledge of:
- Programming (PLC, SCADA, programming languages)
- Industrial networks and communication protocols
- Building Management Systems (BMS) and Energy Management Systems (EMS)
- IoT and sensor technologies, such as HVAC, refrigeration, lighting, water pumping, CO2
sensors, etc.
- Previous experience with building management system (BMS) providers, IoT solution providers, control and automation system manufacturers, energy management companies, commercial building automation integrators, smart building technology providers, HVAC solution providers, technology and solutions consulting firms, energy service companies, retail.
- Proficiency in design and simulation tools.
- Proficiency in Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI or similar. Experience in reporting and data analysis for effective decision-making.
- Fluent in English and Spanish.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
- Results-oriented with the ability to adapt to dynamic environments.
