About The Role

We are seeking an experienced UX/UI Designer with strong expertise in Figma to join our team remotely, based in Washington, DC. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing intuitive and modern digital interfaces for a federal agency, transforming complex financial workflows into user-friendly applications. You will work closely with our Power Platform Developer to translate user needs into thoughtful designs, wireframes, and interactive prototypes. Your work will ensure that agency staff can efficiently interact with critical financial systems, adhering to federal accessibility standards and modern design principles.

Qualifications

  • U.S. Citizenship required (dual citizens are ineligible)
  • Must pass a Public Trust background investigation
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field from an accredited college or university
  • 8+ years of professional experience in UX/UI or product design
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating modern, user-centered digital products
  • Expert proficiency in Figma for wireframing, high-fidelity mockups, interactive prototypes, and design systems
  • Experience designing for Microsoft Power Platform solutions (Power Apps and Power Pages)
  • Experience delivering design work within a federal agency environment
  • Solid understanding of user research methods, usability testing, and translating findings into design decisions
