Key Responsibilities

Write clean, efficient, and maintainable Swift code while troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues
Conduct code reviews and help maintain high standards for code quality, performance, and reliability
Partner with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver new functionality and improve existing features
Analyze application performance, investigate crashes, and implement improvements to stability and user experience
Develop and maintain automated unit and integration tests
Mentor fellow engineers, share technical knowledge, and contribute to engineering best practices
Evaluate user behavior and experiment with new ideas to improve engagement and product usability
Collaborate effectively with a distributed engineering team across multiple time zones

They are seeking a Staff iOS Software Engineer to play a key role in the evolution of a widely used mobile application. This individual will provide technical leadership, contribute hands-on to development efforts, and work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality features that impact millions of users.


What You'll Do

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain features for a large-scale native iOS application
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable Swift code while troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues
  • Conduct code reviews and help maintain high standards for code quality, performance, and reliability
  • Partner with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver new functionality and improve existing features

What We're Looking For

  • Extensive experience building and delivering native iOS applications used in production environments
  • Expert-level proficiency with Swift, including strong experience with SwiftUI and UIKit
  • Solid understanding of modern web technologies such as HTTP, HTML, and JavaScript
  • Experience working within large, complex codebases and the ability to quickly understand existing architecture
  • Strong background writing and maintaining automated testing frameworks, including unit and integration tests
  • Passion for producing high-quality software and continuously improving engineering practices
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams
  • Experience mentoring engineers or providing technical leadership is highly preferred
  • Comfortable working remotely in a collaborative, fast-paced engineering environment.
