Senior Data Analyst

Location: Fully Remote (U.S.)

Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire

We're partnering with an innovative organization to hire a Senior Data Analyst for its growing Enterprise Data Analytics Center of Excellence (CoE). This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys transforming complex data into meaningful business insights while collaborating closely with stakeholders to build impactful analytics solutions.

What You'll Do

  • Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements, facilitate discussions, and translate business needs into analytics solutions.
  • Design, build, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports that drive business decisions.
  • Analyze complex datasets and identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Write advanced SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data from multiple data sources.
  • Collaborate with Data Engineers to deliver data products through Agile development sprints.
  • Create user stories, define reporting requirements, and support end-to-end product delivery.
  • Develop actionable data visualizations and executive-level reporting.
  • Contribute to data modeling efforts and enterprise data warehouse initiatives.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance reporting, analytics, and business processes.
  • Present findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Analytics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in data analytics or business intelligence.
  • Advanced SQL skills with experience analyzing large, complex datasets.
  • Strong hands-on experience developing Power BI dashboards and visualizations.
  • Excellent communication skills with experience gathering requirements and working directly with business stakeholders.
  • Strong data storytelling and presentation skills.
  • Experience working independently while managing multiple priorities.
  • Highly organized with strong ownership and accountability.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Azure Databricks and modern cloud data platforms.
  • Familiarity with ETL processes and tools such as Azure Synapse, Databricks, or dbt.
  • Experience with SQL Server, Oracle, Delta Lake, or similar enterprise data platforms.
  • Python experience is a plus.
  • Experience building data applications using Streamlit, Dash, or similar tools is a plus.
  • Healthcare industry experience is preferred but not required.
