Frontend Development Intern

This internship exists to support our technical and consulting teams as they build the digital tools used during our client engagements. A leading South African financial services provider is currently working with us to assess their internal decision-making structures, and you will help develop the frontend interfaces that make our data findings clear and actionable for their executives. This is a fully remote role where you will apply your foundations in coding to practical, high-stakes business problems.

What You Will Do

• Translate layout prototypes and design requirements into clean, functional code using modern web standards.
• Maintain and update existing internal web applications used for organizational restructuring analysis.
• Help senior developers document frontend components and styling guidelines to ensure consistency.
• Conduct thorough testing across multiple browsers to ensure a stable user experience for our consultants.
• Assist in refining user interfaces to better display complex organizational data and decision rights.
• Participate in peer code reviews to learn about professional standards for code quality and structure.
• Support the transition of static evidence reports into interactive, web-based tools for client workshops.
• Collaborate with the data team to ensure that data visualizations are both accurate and easy to interpret.

What We Are Looking For

• Basic proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, likely gained through university projects or self-directed study.

• An ability to communicate technical ideas clearly and accurately in written form.
