QA Automation Engineer

We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer to join our team and support the testing of applications, with a particular focus on ensuring quality, reliability, and performance across critical business processes. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in test automation and a strong understanding of software testing methodologies in agile environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain, and execute automated tests for web and desktop applications.
• Perform regression testing of critical business workflows and processes.
• Create and maintain automated test scripts for complex test scenarios using technologies such as JavaScript, Python, VBScript, or equivalent scripting languages, depending on the testing tool.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous delivery and quality assurance.
• Document test execution results, analyze findings, and report defects.
• Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in test automation and software quality assurance.
• Strong understanding of automated testing concepts, including object recognition, record & playback, and CI/CD integration.
• Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum).
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within international teams.
• English and/or German language skills.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with TestComplete is a strong advantage.
• Candidates with solid experience in other automation testing tools will also be considered, including:
