Job Description

Our client is a fast-growing, multi-brand field services platform in the United States. They acquire established regional home-services companies and bring them onto one shared technology backbone, with ServiceTitan at the center of it. Every day, thousands of jobs, invoices, customers, and technician records have to move cleanly between ServiceTitan and the systems that surround it — the ERP that closes the books, the marketing tools that generate the leads, the reporting layer the executives read, and the field tools the crews use.

You are the person who makes that movement reliable. As an integration specialist, you will design, build, monitor, and troubleshoot the connections between ServiceTitan and everything it touches. When a nightly invoice sync throws forty errors, you are the one who opens the log, traces the failure to the business unit that was never mapped, fixes the mapping rather than the symptom, re-runs the batch safely, and tells Operations and Accounting what happened in plain language. When a newly acquired brand comes onto the platform, you are the one who maps their data to the shared model and gets it across without losing history.

This role takes a different level of trust than a typical systems job. You will work asynchronously with US-based stakeholders who cannot look over your shoulder on data that touches revenue. Nobody will be awake to catch a bad decision at 3:00 AM Eastern. We are looking for someone who documents what they build, says something the moment a sync is wrong, and would rather stop and ask than quietly re-run a job that might double-post invoices. If you enjoy variety, ownership, and building systems that dozens of locations rely on every day, this will suit you.

Key Responsibilities

Integration Build & Maintenance

  • Design, configure, and maintain integrations between ServiceTitan and connected business systems, using native connectors, middleware, and direct API work.
  • Build and adjust webhook and scheduled-job configurations so data moves on the right cadence for each downstream system.
  • Extend or rebuild existing connections as the platform's system landscape changes with each acquisition.
  • Test every integration change in a controlled way before it touches production data.

Data Flow Mapping & Documentation

  • Document how data moves between systems: which object, which field, in which direction, on what trigger.
  • Identify where fields, statuses, or records need to be reconciled or transformed between two systems that model the same thing differently.
  • Write clear integration specifications from stakeholder requirements, and keep a current, accurate record of every live connection.
  • Maintain field-mapping tables and data dictionaries that a colleague could pick up and use without asking you a question.

Troubleshooting, Monitoring & Data Quality

  • Monitor sync jobs and integration health daily, and catch failures before the business does.
  • Diagnose sync errors and data mismatches, trace them back to root cause, and resolve them accurately rather than quickly.
  • Build lightweight checks and QA processes that catch bad data before it reaches the ERP, the reporting layer, or the field.
  • Reconcile record counts and financial totals between source and destination, and investigate every variance you find.

New-Brand Onboarding & Migration

  • Support the onboarding of newly acquired locations onto the shared ServiceTitan environment.
  • Map and migrate customer, location, job, and historical data from the acquired company's prior platform.
  • Flag data-quality problems in incoming datasets early, while they are still cheap to fix.
  • Help standardize incoming brands onto the shared data model — business units, job types, chart-of-accounts alignment.

Automation & AI-Assisted Workflows

  • Use scripting and AI tools to accelerate mapping, testing, and data cleanup work.
  • Build repeatable processes for the tasks that recur with every new brand, instead of redoing them by hand.
  • Bring automation ideas forward when you see the same manual work happening twice.

Cross-Functional Partnership

  • Work directly with Operations, Accounting, and IT to gather requirements and confirm that data means the same thing to everyone.
  • Coordinate with vendor and platform support teams when an issue sits on their side of the line.
  • Communicate integration status, incidents, and fixes clearly and proactively to stakeholders who cannot see your screen.

Required Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience working in ServiceTitan — its configuration, reporting, data model, or integration setup.
  • Practical experience building or maintaining integrations between business systems, through native connectors, middleware, or custom API work.
  • Working comfort with REST APIs, webhooks, and structured data formats including JSON and CSV.
  • Demonstrated ability to trace a data problem back to its root cause rather than patching the visible symptom.
  • Fluent, professional written and verbal English, working directly with US-based stakeholders and vendors.
  • Strong attention to detail with financial or operational data, where a small mapping error becomes a real dollar variance.
  • Ability to work full-time hours that overlap the US Eastern Time business day.
  • A collaborative, low-ego working style — you document your work and speak up quickly when something breaks.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Direct experience with the ServiceTitan API, including authentication, rate limits, and pulling structured exports.
  • SQL or scripting experience (Python, PowerShell, or similar) used for data validation, transformation, or cleanup.
  • Experience in field services or home services — roofing, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, pest control, or a similar trade — and a working understanding of how such a business actually runs day to day.
  • Experience integrating a field service CRM with an ERP, accounting, or spend-management platform.
  • Familiarity with other field-service platforms such as Jobber, Housecall Pro, FieldEdge, Service Fusion, FieldRoutes, WorkWave, BuildOps, Successware, AccuLynx, JobNimbus, or LeapCRM.
  • Experience with automation and iPaaS tools such as Zapier, Make, Workato, or Tray.io.
  • Exposure to a multi-brand, roll-up, or private-equity-backed operating environment where systems consolidate quickly.
  • Experience supporting a data migration during a company acquisition or platform change.

Tools & Software

  • ServiceTitan — the primary field service management platform and system of record.
  • Comparable field service platforms you may reference or migrate data from — Jobber, Housecall Pro, FieldEdge, Service Fusion, FieldRoutes, WorkWave, BuildOps, Successware, AccuLynx, JobNimbus, LeapCRM.
  • Integration and automation tooling — native connectors, and iPaaS platforms such as Zapier, Make, Workato, or Tray.io.
  • ERP / finance system for downstream accounting integration.
  • APIs and data formats — REST, webhooks, JSON, CSV; SQL where available.
  • Microsoft 365 — Teams, Outlook, Excel, SharePoint and OneDrive for collaboration and documentation.
  • Ticketing and project management tools for intake, tracking, and internal support.
  • AI tools — used daily across the team for mapping, testing, and cleanup work.

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • You get genuine satisfaction from finding out why two systems disagree, not just making the error message go away.
  • You would rather stop and ask a question at 3:00 AM than re-run a job that might post the same invoice twice.
  • You write things down as you build them, because you know the next person to touch this connection might not be you.
  • You tell people that something broke before they find out on their own.
  • You are comfortable being the only person in the room who understands how the data actually flows, and you explain it without jargon.
  • You like variety, and you are energized rather than unsettled when a new brand arrives with a messy dataset and a different way of naming everything.
  • You take correction as information, adjust quickly, and do not need the same feedback twice.
  • You work well with US-based colleagues you have never met in person, and you keep them informed without being asked.

Do not check every box? If you are a fast learner with the right mindset and real integration instincts, we would still like to hear from you.
