Role Description The AI Software Engineer role is a full-time remote position focused on designing, developing, and deploying AI-driven software solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include building and maintaining machine learning models, implementing pattern recognition and neural network architectures, and integrating Natural Language Processing (NLP) capabilities into products and tools. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements, optimize data pipelines, and ensure model performance and reliability in production environments. The AI Software Engineer will write clean, scalable code, perform code reviews, and contribute to best practices for software development and MLOps. This position also includes researching new AI techniques, evaluating frameworks, and helping improve internal tools that support data annotation and AI training workflows.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Computer Science fundamentals, including algorithms, data structures, and software engineering principles.
- Candidates should possess skills in Software Development, with experience in one or more programming languages commonly used in AI (e.g., Python, Java, C++), and familiarity with version control and testing.
- Candidates should possess expertise in Neural Networks and Pattern Recognition, including experience with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Natural Language Processing (NLP), including hands-on work with NLP libraries, language models, or text-processing pipelines.
- Relevant experience with machine learning workflows, data pipelines, and deploying models to production (e.g., cloud platforms, containers, APIs) is beneficial.
- A bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote, distributed team environment.
- Interest in contributing to socially impactful AI projects and working with teams across diverse backgrounds and regions is an advantage.
