Job Role- Sr Data Engineer
Remote(MUST live in PST time zone. Anywhere in PST, including Hawaii, CA, Oregon, Washington, Seatle, etc.)

Must Haves:
· 6+ years of experience in Data Engineering with strong ownership of production data platforms and pipelines.
· MUST HAVE hands-on experience with Google BigQuery for data warehousing, modeling, optimization, and analytics.
· Strong experience using dbt to build, maintain, and scale data transformation frameworks.
· Expert-level SQL skills and deep understanding of data modeling, dimensional modeling, and warehouse design.
· Experience building and maintaining ELT/ETL pipelines using tools such as Fivetran or similar ingestion platforms.
· Experience supporting finance, revenue, accounting, or operational reporting workflows.

On a daily basis, this engineer will work with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements, build and optimize data models in BigQuery using dbt, and improve the end-to-end flow of data from source systems into the company's data warehouse and reporting tools. They will help create automated solutions for revenue calculations, transaction reporting, and accounting processes that are currently dependent on manual intervention and spreadsheet-based workflows. This person will also play a highly consultative role, partnering closely with business teams to identify data gaps, improve data governance, and ensure reporting outputs can be trusted for operational and strategic decision-making. They should be comfortable operating independently, influencing technical direction, and serving as a bridge between globally distributed teams while remaining deeply involved in the technical implementation. The ideal candidate is a hands-on Staff-level Data Engineer who enjoys solving ambiguous business problems, working directly with stakeholders, and building scalable solutions that have immediate business impact.
Responsibilities:
· Monitoring platform health and troubleshoot complex data issues to improve data accuracy across multiple systems
· Implementing testing and validation frameworks
· Optimizing warehouse performance; feeding warehouse data back into operational systems such as HubSpot.
· Supporting downstream integrations into systems such as HubSpot
· Designing scalable solutions that eliminate manual processes and improve the accuracy, reliability, and accessibility of business-critical data.
· Work across global teams and navigating time zone coordination challenges
· Automating manual Excel-based reporting and reconciliation workflows.
· Experience working with customer segmentation, support tiering, or operational analytics initiatives.
· Familiarity with analytics and BI tools such as GoodData, Metabase, or similar reporting platforms.
