Job Summary
The Director, Data Science leads an analytics function or center of excellence and owns enterprise-wide clinical reporting strategy for a line of business or region. This role drives clinical and operational decisions through data and oversees key domains such as HEDIS, Stars, utilization management analytics, risk adjustment, and population health.
Work Arrangement
- 100% remote
- Must be able to work in Eastern Time
- Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM EST to 5:00 PM EST
- Travel to our corporate campus in Newtown Square, PA up to 6x a year
- Lead a clinical analytics function or center of excellence
- Own enterprise-wide clinical reporting strategy for a line of business or region
- Drive decisions across clinical and operational areas through data and insight
- Drive vendor strategy, technology oversight, and cross-enterprise alignment on priorities
- Oversee major analytic domains of UM and CM analytics and population health
- Manage team structure, budget, operating model, and leadership communications
- Monitor workload, quality, and stakeholder satisfaction while improving team processes
- Deliver executive-level insight and presentations to population health leadership
- Partner directly with senior clinical and executive stakeholders to frame analytical priorities and interpret results
- Own advanced analytics supporting Stars, risk adjustment, utilization management, or similar strategic areas

- Bachelor’s degree required in Biostatistics, Public Health, Health Analytics, Data Science, or related field. Master's Degree preferred
- Minimum of 10 years of data science experience using mathematics, statistics, modeling, business analysis, and technology to transform high volumes of complex data into advanced analytic solutions
- Minimum of 5 years of experience leading a cross-functional, remote team

- Ability to connect enterprise analytics decisions to financial, operational, and regulatory outcomes.
- Strong problem-solving, project ownership, and stakeholder management
