About The Role
We are seeking an Engineer II, QA to join our team at Bellese, specifically within our HQR team supporting the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). In this role, you will be instrumental in maintaining and enhancing software systems that support the Hospital Quality Reporting program. Your contributions will ensure the reliability, security, and performance of critical healthcare reporting systems used by thousands of hospitals nationwide. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, external stakeholders, and clients to embed quality assurance practices throughout the software development lifecycle. Your expertise will help us modernize these systems, reduce provider burden, and minimize costs, ultimately enabling healthcare providers to focus on delivering safe and high-quality patient care.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 3 years of development or QA experience in software engineering
- Experience with relational databases, preferably SQL
- Proficiency in API testing, with tools such as Postman
- Experience with Cypress and/or JavaScript for test automation
- Frontend development experience with frameworks like Angular
- Cloud experience, ideally with AWS
- Familiarity with test management tools such as TestRail
- Experience working within Agile development methodologies
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC), preferably Terraform
- Understanding of end-to-end automated CI/CD pipelines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills

- Develop and implement comprehensive test plans, test cases, and documentation aligned with software specifications and user requirements

- Participate in troubleshooting and root cause analysis for identified issues
- Contribute to maintaining high-quality software releases by adhering to best practices in testing and documentation
