Wehave an opportunity for an Lead Embedded Software Test Engineer -Innovative Avionics to join our Honeywell team in Krakow.
TheAvionics industry is entering into an exciting new age of Urban Air Mobilityand Autonomous Flight. Be part of a team that will direct the way in thismarket by developing new compact and lightweight Next Generation Traffic andSurveillance avionics that will be used on a wide variety of aircraftplatforms, from Air Transport and Business Jets to UAM/UAS, allowing you togrow your expertise in an exciting industry niche. This is a hybrid role, 3days in office, 2 from home.
Youwill help create breakthrough innovations that will ensure Honeywell'sleadership position. You will be responsible for performing verification andvalidation for highly complex software functions, being involved in thecomplete software Verification and Validation life cycle including testplanning, software testing, system testing, and certification. Key Responsibilities
- Perform Verification and Validation for new product development.
- Support software testing on legacy airborne surveillance products.
- Software Testing; Integration testing; Certification; Customer Support
- Coding in multiple languages using analytical & software development skills
Key Experience & Capabilities
- University degree in computer engineering, Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
- 10+ years' experience in embedded software verification or development
Wevalue
- Knowledge of Input/Output processing for A429, AFDX and Ethernet interfaces
- Avionics software verification and development processes knowledge, certifications, and DO-178 design assurance guidelines exposure
- Strong comprehension of requirement-based software verification methods
- Working experience in handling Debuggers/Emulators
- Knowledge of software configuration and change management practices with DOORS or Atlassian tools, Agile development processes, SOC, and Multi-core processors
- Diverse and global teaming and collaboration
- Effective communication approach with wide degree of creativity and latitude
