About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to develop and implement automation solutions that drive efficiency and innovation within our organization. The ideal candidate will possess a 'You Build It, You Run It' mentality, taking ownership of end-to-end automation initiatives, including building integrations, data pipelines, and supporting services. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities, evaluate the use of AI tools such as large language models and retrieval-augmented generation pipelines, and determine when traditional scripting or integration methods are more appropriate. This role requires a proactive, problem-solving mindset, with a focus on creating scalable, reliable solutions that enhance operational workflows. The position is fully remote, suitable for candidates based in the EST or CST time zones, and offers opportunities for professional growth through mentorship, training, and collaboration with experienced developers and external consultants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field is preferred.
• 3-7 years of full-time full-stack development experience, with proficiency in C#, .NET, Python, or JavaScript.
• At least 3 years of experience building system integrations, data pipelines, or APIs for critical business systems.
• Strong understanding of backend development, troubleshooting, and system architecture.
• Familiarity with AI concepts such as retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), chunking strategies, embeddings, and vector search technologies.
• Experience working with vector databases like Qdrant, Pinecone, or Weaviate.

• Proficiency in deploying applications using Docker and managing cloud environments, preferably Azure.
• Knowledge of workflow automation tools (e.g., n8n, Zapier, Airflow) and caching solutions like Redis.
• Understanding of version control systems and basic CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement automation solutions across various business functions, including integrations, data pipelines, and workflow automation.
• Partner with stakeholders to assess automation needs and recommend appropriate solutions, balancing AI capabilities with traditional methods.
• Own and maintain integrations and data flows between systems such as SharePoint, SQL databases, file shares, and document repositories.
• Develop AI features that provide tangible value, including prompt design, RAG pipelines, and LLM integrations with providers like OpenAI and Anthropic.
