Job Description
Technical Project Manager
NeuroDrift Inc. · Fully remote · Full-time
NeuroDrift is an AI-native company building AI-powered products for enterprise clients and agencies. We ship real software into real operations.
We are lean, we move fast, and we are scaling from a tight founding team toward a company of a hundred. We are not filling seats. We are building the core team that gets us there. If you want ownership, hard problems, and a direct line to the people making the decisions, this is that seat.
This is a high-ownership execution role in the Founder's Office. You work shoulder to shoulder with the founders and the engineering team to make sure our client products actually ship, on time and at a standard we are proud of, while the client stays confident the whole way through.
The distinction that matters: we want someone who owns execution, not someone who tracks it. You are here to own outcomes, run the delivery engine, and be the person the founders trust to make things happen without being asked.
You will run multiple client engagements at once. That is the job, and we have the team and the systems behind you to support it, so this is about owning a portfolio with a clear head, not drowning in one.
- The delivery of multiple concurrent client products, from planning through launch
- The engineering team on those projects: direction, priorities, performance, and growth (this is people management, not just coordination)
- The client relationship through delivery: expectations, communication, and trust
- The execution layer between the founders' strategy and shipped product, including the operational work that makes delivery scale as we grow
- The quality bar, the timeline, and the call on what ships and when
- Run standups, sprint planning, and reviews; manage timelines and hit milestones
- Gather requirements and prioritize ruthlessly
- Coordinate engineers, designers, and AI specialists across projects, and remove blockers before they cost you a deadline
- Manage stakeholders and their expectations
- Own risk and escalation: spot problems early, drive them to resolution, and escalate the right things at the right time
- Keep documentation and process tight, and improve both as the team scales
- Support the founders on strategic execution, coordinating directly with them on priorities that reach beyond any single project

- 1 to 3 years managing both people and software delivery, ideally in a high-growth or startup environment
- A track record of owning product delivery end to end, planning through launch, and hitting your dates
- Strong people management: you have led engineers, set direction, and been accountable for a team's output
- You translate business requirements into technical execution plans engineers can act on
- Fluent English and excellent written and verbal communication; you are comfortable in the room with international enterprise clients and can make technical topics clear to non-technical people
- You work independently with minimal supervision and a strong bias toward action
- A real full-stack engineering background. You have written production code and can read a codebase across frontend and backend. This is what makes you impossible to fool: when an estimate, a design, or a "this cannot be done" does not add up, you will know it
- A working command of infrastructure, cloud, and deployments. You understand how systems get built, hosted, and shipped to production, and what that actually takes
- Solution architecture. You can take a requirement and reason about the components, data flow, and trade-offs, not just the timeline
- Your engineering foundation is what lets you own delivery credibly and earn the respect of the engineers you lead
