The (REMOTE) Director, Supply Chain Technology is responsible for leading the strategy, delivery, and continuous improvement of technology solutions that enable efficient, scalable, and innovative supply chain operations. This role partners closely with Logistics business leaders and IT peers to align technology initiatives with operational priorities across distribution, warehouse management, transportation, and final mile delivery. The Director will drive execution of the Supply Chain Tech roadmap, ensuring delivery of secure, high-performing, and cost-effective systems. This role combines strategic planning with hands-on leadership, overseeing product delivery, vendor partnerships, and cross-functional collaboration to support operational excellence and long-term digital transformation.
Essential Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of Supply Chain IT strategy aligned with business goals and enterprise IT direction.
- Identify and implement technology solutions that optimize warehouse operations, inventory management, transportation, and vendor integration.
- Contribute to a multi-year roadmap that enables scalability, efficiency, and continuous improvement across the supply chain ecosystem.
- Drive adoption of modern technologies to enhance distribution center operations, logistics, and final mile delivery capabilities.
- Leverage automation, analytics, and emerging technologies to improve service levels, reduce costs, and increase operational visibility.
- Continuously assess industry trends and introduce innovative capabilities to improve supply chain performance.
- Own end-to-end delivery of Supply Chain IT solutions, including backlog management, prioritization, and execution.
- Lead cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time, within scope, and on budget.
- Define business requirements, success criteria, and KPIs to ensure solutions meet operational needs.
- Resolve delivery risks and proactively manage scope, resources, and timelines.
- Oversee core supply chain platforms, including Warehouse Management Systems (WMS/TMS), and final mile delivery solutions.
- Ensure high system availability and performance across distribution centers and logistics operations.
- Partner with Logistics & Operations teams to enhance processes across receiving, inventory, picking, staging, shipping, routing, and delivery execution.
- Collaborate with infrastructure teams to ensure reliable, secure, and scalable systems supporting supply chain operations.
- Manage vendor relationships and facilitate QBRs to support application platforms, hardware, and third-party services.
- Ensure effective integration across ERP and supply chain systems to enable seamless data flow and operational efficiency.
- Ensure delivery of secure, compliant, and reliable technology solutions aligned with enterprise standards.
- Establish governance practices, KPIs, and performance tracking to ensure operational excellence.
- Partner with InfoSec and IT leadership to maintain strong controls and data integrity across all supply chain systems.
- Build strong relationships with Supply Chain leadership and business stakeholders to understand priorities and translate them into actionable technology solutions.
- Act as a trusted advisor, providing guidance on system capabilities, trade-offs, and strategic direction.
- Facilitate communication between business and IT to ensure alignment and successful outcomes.
- Lead and develop a high-performing team of IT professionals and external partners supporting Supply Chain systems.
- Foster a collaborative, accountable, and results-oriented team culture.
- Coach team members, set clear objectives, and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Complete all required training modules and certifications prior to the due date.
- Ensure all safety policies and procedures are followed for a safe work environment for all.
- Communicate professionally with all internal and external contacts.
- Follow all Company policies and execute Company standards on appearance and functionality as well as appropriate brand representation.
- Communicate any concerns or issues to leadership to ensure proper efficiency of department and Company operations.

- Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, Supply Chain, or related field required
- Master's Degree preferred
- 7+ Years of IT experience with a focus on Supply Chain systems and operations required
- Experience delivering solutions with WMS/TMS, ERP integrations, logistics systems preferred
- Proven track record of leading technology initiatives supporting distribution centers and transportation operations preferred
- Experience working in cross-functional environments with business & IT stakeholders preferred
- Supply Chain Technology Expertise: Deep knowledge of WMS, TMS, OMS, ERP (e.g., Microsoft D365), and logistics platforms.
- Strategic Thinking & Execution: Ability to translate business strategy into actionable IT roadmaps.
- Agile Delivery & Supply Chain Technology Management: Strong experience managing backlogs, priorities, iterative delivery, and system upgrades.
- Leadership & Team Development: Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams both direct reports and cross-functional project teams.
- Vendor & Stakeholder Management: Strong partnership and communication skills across internal and external stakeholders, facilitate QBRs.
- Operational Excellence: Focus on system performance, uptime, continuous improvement and DC efficiencies.
- Security & Compliance Awareness: Understanding of enterprise security and compliance, data and AI governance requirements.

Competitive Salary range of $185,000 - $200,000 * depending on qualifications and experience. For eligible Leadership and individual contributor roles, additional bonus opportunities may be available and awarded at the discretion of the Company.
