As part of this exciting journey, they are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Network Engineer to join an exisiting team, being the network expert and taking the lead on multiple projects within their digital transformation programme.

Role Overview

As a Senior Network Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the design, implementation, and management of our network infrastructure. You will work on a variety of projects that are critical to our digital transformation efforts, ensuring robust, secure, and efficient network operations. This is a project-focused role where your expertise in networking will be crucial to our success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work on multiple network projects, as the IT network expert, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
  • Design, implement, and maintain network solutions across Azure platforms.
  • Configure and manage load balancers, with a preference for F5.
  • Ensure the security and integrity of network platforms, including firewalls.
  • Deploy and manage WAN and SD-WAN solutions.
  • Provide expert network skills and guidance for projects across the business.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives.
  • Make informed decisions and think creatively to solve complex network challenges.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in IT networking.
  • Proven experience with Azure platforms.
  • Proficiency in configuring and managing load balancers, ideally F5.
  • Strong knowledge of security platforms and firewalls.
  • Experience in WAN deployment and SD-WAN solutions.
  • Cisco certification (CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent) would be advantageous.
  • Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to think outside the box and provide innovative network solutions.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
