Job Description

Job Title: Data Analytics Project Manager

About eNGINE

eNGINE builds Technical Teams. We are a Solutions and Placement firm shaped by decades of interaction with Technical professionals. Our inspiration is continuous learning and engagement with the markets we serve, the talent we represent, and the teams we build. Our Consulting Workforce is encouraged to enjoy career fulfillment in the form of challenging projects, schedule flexibility, and paid training/certifications. Successful outcomes start and finish with eNGINE.

The Role

We're looking for a Data Analytics PM who can do more than run meetings and update timelines — someone who can actually get into the data and build things. This role sits at the center of several data projects, working alongside internal eNGINE teams and outside partner teams, so you'll need to be comfortable managing people, timelines, and technical output all at once.

What You'll Be Doing

On the project management side:

  • Running the day-to-day of large data projects — planning, timelining, and resourcing alongside eNGINE and partner-team leads
  • Attending implementation and launch calls for various lines of business
  • Keeping stakeholders updated on progress in a way that's clear and useful, not just status-report noise
  • Planning and scoping iterations, including helping figure out the right mix of tickets for each sprint

On the technical side:

  • Working directly in Azure DevOps, including scripting — this isn't a "log tickets and move on" setup
  • Building dashboards straight out of Azure DevOps and Power BI to give the business real visibility into project health
  • Reading requirements well enough to put together scope estimates, with an eye toward eventually moving the team from task counting to real story-pointing
  • Understanding test plans, pull requests, and the general lifecycle of a technical ticket well enough to explain status to non-technical business partners

Beyond the day-to-day, we'd also want this person to partner on process improvement — looking at how the team works now, figuring out what could run better, and documenting it so it sticks.

What You Bring

  • Solid project management experience, ideally with large, multi-team data projects
  • Strong communication skills — you'll be translating between technical and business audiences constantly
  • Healthcare or Pharmacy industry experience
  • Hands-on Azure DevOps experience, including scripting (Jira experience alone won't cover what this role needs)
  • Enough technical fluency to understand tickets, test plans, and pull requests without needing someone to translate for you
  • Comfort building dashboards in Power BI and pulling data directly from Azure DevOps
  • A background in resource and iteration planning, not just high-level timelines
  • Comfortable working EST hours
