About Foyera
Foyera is the AI operations platform for hospitality: a Digital Twin of Hospitality Operations with AI decision-making and writeback into the systems operators already use. Built by hospitality operators, deployed onshore and offshore.
The role
Forward Deployed Engineers own the last mile: the distance between our platform and a property that actually runs on it. You embed with customers, model their operation in Foyera, build the connectors and workflows their setup needs, and stay until the system is doing real work in production. You are equal parts engineer, consultant, and product scout, and you will work directly with the founders every day.
Deployments span onshore and offshore operations: hotels, serviced apartment portfolios, resorts, and maritime hospitality environments such as cruise ships. One month you might be configuring workflows for a hotel, the next embedded with an operations team at sea.
What you will do
- Own implementations end to end: discovery, data modeling, configuration, go-live, and iteration
- Model each property in our ontology: rooms, units, guests, shifts, tasks, and SOPs.
- Build and extend connectors to (S)PMS and operational systems
- Design agentic workflows that execute operational work with writeback
- Work on-site with operators across onshore and offshore environments, from hostels and serviced apartment portfolios to ships at sea

What we are looking for
- Strong software engineering fundamentals, comfortable across the stack; we build on AWS
- Experience integrating third-party APIs and webhooks, and taming messy real-world data
- Clear communication with non-technical people; a hotel GM should leave a call with you feeling understood
- High ownership and comfort with ambiguity; you would rather ship something imperfect today than a spec next month
- Willingness to travel to customer operations onshore and offshore, including deployments on board ships
- Fluent English
