Positioned at the rapid intersection of healthcare, retail, and financial technology, the organization addresses challenges in benefits administration by facilitating efficient, secure, large-scale transactions serving millions of Americans—many of whom are older or within lower-income brackets. The company is currently in a high-growth Series B stage and backed by several leading venture capital investors.
2. About the Opportunity:
The Staff Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for operating, scaling, and maintaining secure distributed systems that process massive volumes of benefit transactions through retail point-of-sale partners. This role ensures the absolute stability, ultra-low latency, and tight security of computing environments critical to the organization's core services. The position contributes by enhancing automated software delivery pipelines and progressive security measures, fostering a safe and efficient operational footprint, and technical coaching to engineering teams to uphold architectural best practices.
3. Responsibilities:
• Maintain stable, highly available, and high-performance computing environments during periods of significant transaction workload spikes
• Optimize and advance the software release process to support multiple daily automated CI/CD deployments seamlessly

• Instrument infrastructure telemetry to route security events to central log monitoring and SIEM systems for real-time analysis
• Foster a collaborative, blameless engineering culture that balances development velocity, operational safety, and high code quality
4. Requirements:
• Minimum of seven (7) years of senior or staff-level professional experience in software engineering, application security, cloud/infrastructure security, and infrastructure operations
• Deep, hands-on technical expertise combining modern software development, enterprise security, and systems operations
