We are a SaaS company building a software for service companies in the USA. This app allows our customers to manage their schedule, staff, inventory, and customers. We are completely remote and have developers from around the world.

Position: Part-Time Project Manager

Hours: 20 hours per week

About the Role:

We are seeking a talented Project Manager to join our team and help us streamline our project management processes. As a Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in organizing tasks, ensuring clear communication across the team, and working closely with staff to enhance clarity and increase the team's velocity. If you have a knack for keeping projects on track, enjoy fostering a collaborative environment, and excel in using Jira, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

• Organize and Manage Projects: Develop, maintain, and monitor project plans, schedules, and deliverables to ensure timely and within-budget completion.
• Facilitate Communication: Serve as the main point of contact for project updates, facilitating clear and consistent communication among team members and stakeholders.
• Jira Management: Utilize Jira to create, update, and manage project tasks, ensuring all team members are aligned and aware of their responsibilities.
• Increase Team Velocity: Identify bottlenecks and work with the team to implement solutions that improve efficiency and productivity.
• Regular Reporting: Provide regular status reports to senior management, highlighting progress, risks, and any necessary adjustments.
• Support Team Members: Assist team members in understanding their tasks, deadlines, and any dependencies to promote a smooth workflow.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in project management, preferably in a SaaS or software development environment.
• Skills:
• Proficiency in Jira and other project management tools.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field is preferred.
