ROLE OVERVIEW: AI Research Scientist – Large Language Model

BlueHalo Labs AI/ML Center of Excellence* has multiple full-time positions for Research Scientists with strong backgrounds and expertise in NLP and Large Language Models.

These roles could be Senior, Lead, or Principal; the level will depend on the candidate’s education and experience.

BlueHalo Labs AI/ML Center of Excellence is the central group responsible for driving AI research and development across BlueHalo. With over 50 scientists and engineers, the center is dedicated to fostering innovation, cultivating knowledge, and developing new applications. We have active research and development projects where we design, integrate, and deploy robust and scalable AI solutions for a range of applications, including text analytics, information retrieval, question and answering, human-machine interaction, autonomous systems, and generative AI.

You’d like to do this

• Lead and execute cutting-edge research and development in the area of AI, NLP, Large Language Models and related fields.
• Support and guide a team of researchers to ensure the successful execution of R&D projects.
• Interact with multiple AI research groups and build collaborations with academia and industry.
• Assist or lead in proposal writing and exploring new research opportunities.
  
  

You’re Required To Have This

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION & MORE

• Bachelor, master or doctorate degree in computer science, computer engineering, mathematics, or another related field
• you must be a US Citizen OR a US permanent resident (green card holder) to qualify for this role
  
  

Skills

• Hands-on experience training, tuning, optimizing, and deploying large-scale language models.
• Deep understanding of LLMs, modern NLP architectures and techniques, vulnerabilities in LLMs and mitigating solutions.
• Ability to innovate, explore new applications, and develop new technology
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and collaboration skills.
