Role Description
This is a part-time, work from home - SME and Sales Partner opportunity based in Bengaluru for experienced sales and marketing professionals with 10+ years of experience. The SUBJECT MATTER EXPERT and Sales Partner will identify, prospect, and onboard clients and sponsors for large VIKSIT BHARAT CONFERENCES and AWARDS and online exhibitions, focusing on organizations involved in export, import, and global trade. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing the sales cycle from lead generation to closing, maintaining strong relationships with key accounts, and collaborating with internal teams to align offerings with client needs. The role involves developing strategic channel partnerships, presenting the value of IGEN’s AI-driven platform, and providing ongoing support to ensure high client satisfaction and retention. The Sales Partner will also analyze market trends, share insights with leadership, and contribute to revenue growth and expansion plans.
Skill Sets -
Strong Entrepreneurship Attitude and GO-GETTING attitude and NETWORKING EXPERIENCE
Strong Communication and Customer Service skills, with the ability to build trust and maintain long-term professional relationships.
Proven experience in Sales and Account Management, including handling end-to-end sales cycles and achieving or exceeding targets.
Experience working with Channel Partners, strategic alliances, or distribution networks in B2B or platform-based environments.
10+ years of relevant experience in sales and marketing, ideally in exhibitions, events, SaaS, digital platforms, or related industries.
Demonstrated ability to present complex solutions clearly, negotiate effectively, and manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
Familiarity with online exhibitions, digital marketing, or AI-driven platforms is an advantage.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

The role involves guiding strategic direction for international expansion, partnerships, and revenue growth, including advising on new markets, alliances, and product positioning within the EXIM and digital media ecosystem. The individual will review and refine business plans, assess financial performance, provide governance insights, and help shape key decisions related to AI-driven products and services. Day-to-day activities include participating in virtual leadership meetings, mentoring senior managers, reviewing strategic and financial reports, and offering structured feedback on operations, risk, and innovation initiatives. The role also includes representing IGEN in select virtual events, contributing to thought leadership, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure scalable, compliant, and sustainable growth.
Qualifications
- 25+ years of senior leadership experience (CEO, CXO, CFO, COO, CTO, CHRO or equivalent) in large or high-growth organizations; prior exposure to global markets is highly desirable.
- Proven track record in Business Planning and Strategic Planning, including market entry strategy, long-term roadmapping, and data-driven decision-making
- Extensive experience in Finance, including financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and oversight of P&L and investment decisions.
- Strong background in Operations Management, with a focus on process optimization, scaling digital businesses, and implementing governance frameworks.
- Demonstrated success in Sales and commercial leadership, particularly in B2B, digital media, or technology-driven environments.
- Familiarity with AI, digital platforms, and online media business models, with the ability to interpret technical and analytics-based insights for strategic use.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and mentoring skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a fully remote setting.
- Advanced degree in Business, Finance, Management, or a related field preferred; relevant professional certifications are an added advantage.
