About The Role
Beverage Trade Network is seeking a Wine & Spirits Social Media & Growth Manager to manage and grow social media across our global wine, spirits, beer, and hospitality brands.
This role combines content creation, community management, lead generation, and customer engagement. The successful candidate will help grow audiences, drive competition entries, increase event registrations, generate qualified leads, and engage directly with industry professionals through social platforms.
Remote (India Preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of social media marketing experience.
- WSET Level 1 in Wines or Spirits (minimum requirement).
- Strong understanding of wine varietals, wine regions, appellations, and major spirits categories.
- Experience creating content for LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and emerging platforms.
- Strong written English and copywriting skills.
- Experience using Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools.
- Comfortable engaging directly with customers, entrants, exhibitors, speakers, sponsors, and industry professionals.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple brands and deadlines.
- Create and publish daily content across BTN brands.
- Produce graphics, reels, short-form videos, carousels, and educational content.
- Develop content around wine, spirits, beer, competitions, judges, buyers, and industry trends.
- Repurpose articles, interviews, webinars, and event content into social media assets.
- Build and manage monthly content calendars.
- Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries across social platforms.
- Engage with wineries, distilleries, breweries, importers, distributors, retailers, bartenders, and sommeliers.
- Build relationships with judges, speakers, exhibitors, entrants, and media partners.
- Identify potential customers and opportunities through social channels.
- Support customer communication and follow-up via LinkedIn and social DMs.

- Generate qualified leads for competitions, events, sponsorships, and media opportunities.
- Conduct LinkedIn outreach campaigns.
- Help convert social media engagement into entries, registrations, and business inquiries.
- Track and report lead generation activities from social channels.
- Work closely with the sales and marketing teams on growth campaigns.
- Monitor engagement, audience growth, website traffic, and conversion metrics.
- Produce monthly performance reports.
- Identify content and campaign opportunities based on performance data.
- WSET Level 1 or higher.
- Previous experience with a winery, distillery, importer, distributor, hospitality company, beverage publication, agency, or alcohol brand.
- Knowledge of the global wine and spirits trade.
- Experience running paid social campaigns and LinkedIn campaigns.
- Experience with CRM systems and lead tracking.
