Role Overview:

An Excel Expert is needed to develop, validate, and maintain advanced financial and operational models for a global technology client. This work supports high-impact strategic decisions by creating accurate forecasting, budgeting, and scenario analysis tools. The role requires deep proficiency in Excel’s modeling capabilities to deliver reliable insights that drive business planning and risk assessment. Accuracy and auditability of outputs are critical.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain complex financial models in Excel using macros, pivot tables, and advanced formulas.

• Design and implement automated reporting dashboards to track KPIs and financial performance.

• Validate model assumptions and stress-test outputs against historical and market data.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to interpret data requirements and translate them into structured solutions.

• Document formulas, logic, and workflows to ensure model transparency and ease of maintenance.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience developing financial or operational models in Excel.

• Expert-level knowledge of Excel functions including VLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, SUMIFS, and array formulas.

• Proficiency in creating interactive dashboards with slicers, conditional formatting, and dynamic charts.

• Experience with Excel VBA macros to automate repetitive tasks and enhance model functionality.

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
