A 3rd Line Escalations & Project Engineer is a senior hybrid role that blends expert-level IT troubleshooting with infrastructure deployment. They act as the final technical escalation point for 1st/2nd line teams and lead the end-to-end design, implementation, and maintenance of critical business systems.

Core Responsibilities
- Escalation Management: Troubleshoot and resolve highly complex, deep technical problems that junior engineers cannot solve. Conduct root-cause analysis for major incidents
- Project Delivery: Plan and deliver bespoke IT infrastructure projects, such as cloud migrations, network deployments, and server virtualisation
- Environment Management: Design, configure, and maintain solutions across on-premise, hybrid, and cloud infrastructures
- Mentorship & Documentation: Provide technical guidance and training to 1st/2nd line support teams. Produce clear technical documentation, runbooks, and project plans
- Stakeholder Interaction: Communicate technical strategies to non-technical staff, management, and clients

Key Technical Skills & Experience
- Cloud & Modern Workspace: Microsoft 365 (Exchange, SharePoint, Intune, Entra), Microsoft Azure
