Recognised globally as a Best Place to Work, we’re a people-first company where long-term wins always matter more. As part of our team, you will shape the future of fintech with real technology, care, and purpose.
Why this role matters
The Operations Manager is responsible for managing high-impact projects that drive operational excellence, specifically focusing on data consistency and reliability across incidents, issues across all environments, daily cases, and problems. This role works closely with cross-functional teams, particularly Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), to manage business-as-usual (BAU) target processes, deliver continuous improvement projects on time, and ensure that underlying issues are systematically uncovered and resolved.
The role is based in our office in Limassol, Cyprus. In case of relocation, we offer full relocation support for you and your family to make your move smooth and worry-free.
What you'll actually do
- Hold and facilitate structured post-incident reviews (PIRs) and RCA meetings to identify the root causes of major or repetitive incidents. Utilize methodologies like the "5 Whys" and fishbone diagrams to ensure investigations target the actual cause rather than perceived symptoms.
- Work closely with SREs to seamlessly integrate incident and problem management into a cohesive workflow. Support the demands of modern software environments by helping SRE teams track reliability metrics, manage error budgets, and align Service Level Objectives (SLOs).
- Maintain data consistency across the IT environment by leveraging Configuration Management Systems (CMS) and CMDB integrations. Ensure accurate Service Catalog service dependency mapping to quickly assess the impact of issues
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables to improve system reliability based on data trends from past issues and problems. Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, managing stakeholder expectations.
- Analyze incident data and historical trends to identify emerging issues before further incidents can occur. Design, document, and manage target operational processes to improve overall service quality and prevent recurrence.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field (Agile, or similar project management certification is a plus).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of project and/or operations management experience in an international environment.
- Proven track record of successfully managing projects from initiation to closure, particularly in business process optimization.
- Strong understanding of the IT Problem Management lifecycle (creating, categorizing, investigating, and resolving problem records).
- Familiarity with SRE principles, including continuous improvement cycles, automation, and Service Level Indicators/Objectives (SLIs/SLOs).
- Experience with data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI) to convey project status and incident trends.
- Strong analytical skills and proven problem-solving abilities to address project challenges and manage complex RCAs.
- Outstanding communication and people skills to facilitate effective collaboration among product team members, SREs.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Coordinate with all product teams to ensure data consistency, drive reliability improvement projects.
- Fluent in English language.
