About the Role:
You are a highly skilled and experienced Engineering with team-growth mindset at the core and are completely unafraid to test new techniques, methods and ways of working for better collaboration. You will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure to support our leading Leads Management System into the GDH framework. You will also advise and collaborate closely with the System Architect and Engineering Manager to ensure the system robustness and scalability.

Key Responsibilities:
Cloud Infrastructure Design and Implementation:
- Design, deploy, and manage scalable, secure, and resilient cloud infrastructure.
- Implement cloud solutions that meet the performance, security, and availability needs of our applications.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate cloud services into the software development lifecycle.
System Optimization and Performance:
- Monitor cloud infrastructure performance and implement optimizations to ensure efficient resource utilization.
- Identify and address any performance bottlenecks or security vulnerabilities.
- Implement effective cost management strategies for cloud spending.
Security and Compliance:
- Ensure that cloud infrastructure complies with industry standards for security and data protection.
- Implement and maintain security controls, including identity and access management, encryption, and network security.
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits.
Automation and CI/CD:
- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Implement and manage continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to streamline software delivery.
- Automate routine operational tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, operations, and security, to ensure seamless integration and operation of cloud services.
- Communicate cloud infrastructure status, changes, and issues to stakeholders.
- Provide training and support to development teams on cloud-related topics.
Qualifications:

Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their services.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Proficiency with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with CI/CD tools and pipelines (e.g., BitBucket, Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Understanding of networking concepts, including VPN, VPC, DNS, and load balancing.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Good understanding of software development lifecycles (e.g., Lean, DevOps, Scrum, Kanban).
Education and Experience:
- Proven experience in designing, deploying, and managing complex cloud infrastructure.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Cloud engineer.
- Bachelor's or Diploma’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with leads management and data analytics systems.
- Familiarity with processes and key players in the construction industry.
- Certifications in relevant cloud platforms.
