Join a global platform engineering team responsible for the development, automation, and lifecycle management of an internal Kubernetes platform. You will help ensure the platform is reliable, scalable, secure, and easy to operate, while supporting multiple software development teams.
The role combines Kubernetes platform engineering, automation, observability, infrastructure lifecycle management, and technical team coordination.
You will
- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of an internal Kubernetes platform
- Build automation, APIs, and orchestration solutions for infrastructure and platform services
- Improve platform reliability and automate cluster and service upgrades
- Monitor and optimize system performance, resource utilization, and capacity
- Build dashboards and visualizations to provide transparency of platform health
- Identify recurring issues and implement self-healing solutions where possible
- Provide platform engineering and operational support to development teams
- Participate in system design, platform management, and capacity planning
- Coordinate the work and monthly schedule of a small local team of 5 engineers
- Collaborate with global engineering teams on platform initiatives
- Support infrastructure changes outside standard working hours when required

Must have
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and container platforms in production environments
- Strong Linux administration skills
- Experience building infrastructure automation, APIs, and pipelines
- Programming experience in Python or Golang
- Strong scripting skills, e.g., Bash
- Experience with Kubernetes-native technologies such as Istio, Cilium, or CSI
- Experience with Jenkins and Ansible / Ansible Automation Platform
- Knowledge of observability tools such as Splunk or Datadog
- Experience with infrastructure and software lifecycle management using GitHub
- Proactive approach to identifying reliability issues and performance bottlenecks
- Good understanding of ITIL
- Fluent English and Polish
