WANTED: Full-Time Social Media Manager (Based in Orange County, CA)

Powerhouse+Co. is seeking an experienced, highly creative and digitally savvy Social Media Manager to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced agency environment, loves consumer brands, understands internet culture, and knows how to create content that captures attention and drives engagement.

We’re looking for someone who can think strategically, create creatively and execute confidently across multiple social platforms and client accounts.

Applicants should have 3–5 years of experience managing social media for multiple brands in an agency or corporate setting. Experience working with consumer, restaurant or lifestyle brands is strongly preferred. While this is a remote/WFH position, we are only accepting Orange County applicants to support in-person photoshoots, meetings, client events, etc.

RESPONSIBILITIES

·       Lead social media strategy, content planning and day-to-day platform management for agency clients and internal brand channels

·       Manage shoot process from start to finish; develop engaging content with an emphasis on video across platforms including Meta, TikTok, YouTube and LinkedIn

·       Create and manage content calendars aligned with brand objectives, marketing initiatives and cultural trends

·       Execute community management, platform monitoring and audience engagement across multiple client accounts

·       Manage paid social campaigns and boosting strategies from concept through reporting

·       Track analytics, generate monthly reports and identify actionable insights and growth opportunities

·       Stay ahead of social trends, platform updates and emerging tools to continuously evolve content and strategy

·       Collaborate closely with the PR and influencer marketing teams on client campaigns, brainstorms, presentations and meetings

REQUIREMENTS

·       Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Advertising or related field

·       3–5 years of experience in a similar social media role (agency experience strongly preferred)

·       Strong portfolio showcasing social content creation, campaign execution and creative thinking

·       Proficiency in Canva, CapCut, Photoshop and related creative tools

·       Photography and mobile content capture skills

·       Experience using social management and analytics platforms such as Sprout Social

·       Experience managing paid social campaigns and advertising budgets

·       Deep understanding of social media trends, platform best practices and evolving content formats

·       Strong communication skills, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

·       Positive attitude, collaborative mindset and proactive approach to problem solving

·       Ability to thrive in a fast-moving, highly collaborative environment

·       Must be highly creative and equally execution-oriented

·       Full-time remote position
