Job Description:
We are looking for a Senior Network Data Engineer to join our team at F80 Solutions. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, optimizing, and troubleshooting enterprise network infrastructure environments for our global client base.
This position is 100% remote (from Serbia), giving you the flexibility to work from anywhere while contributing to global projects.
The role requires strong Routing and Switching expertise and at least one advanced specialization in Data Center, Wireless, or SD-WAN technologies. You will work on large-scale migration, deployment, and modernization projects while collaborating with other senior engineers to deliver high-quality solutions.
Qualifications:
To excel in this role, candidates should possess:
- Cisco CCNP certification preferred or equivalent knowledge
- Proficiency in English and Serbian (both written and verbal)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Network Engineering roles
- Experience delivering projects from planning through implementation and troubleshooting
- Previous experience in a global corporation with strong change management process is advantageous.
Mandatory Skills:
The candidate must have experience with the following technologies/products at an fully-proficient level.
- Routing/Switching protocols and technologies: EIGRP, BGP, Route Redistribution, PBR, NAT, DMVPN, GRE, IP SLA, HSRP, VRF, STP, VLAN, StackWise/vPC, LACP, SPAN, PortSecurity, 802.1x
- Migrating Cisco Catalyst Switches (from older models to 9k series) or building new
- Migrating Cisco Routers (from ASR/ISR to 8k series) or building new
- Meraki Switching/Wireless - MS/MR building from scratch
