About The Role
The Providence team is seeking a Principal Data Analyst specializing in Revenue Cycle management to join our Remote Analytics team. This senior role is pivotal in designing, implementing, and managing complex data analysis initiatives that directly support revenue cycle performance and organizational financial objectives. The Principal Data Analyst will operate in a highly dynamic environment, balancing multiple stakeholder requests while ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery of analytical outputs. The role offers the flexibility of 100% remote work and is open to candidates residing within 65 miles of select locations including Anchorage, Renton, Portland, Irvine, Lubbock, and Hobbs. The ideal candidate will leverage advanced data analysis skills to translate complex data into actionable insights, facilitating informed decision-making across Revenue Cycle functions. This position provides an excellent opportunity to impact healthcare financial performance while working within a collaborative, mission-driven organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Data Analytics, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or related field, or equivalent education and experience
- Minimum of 7 years of progressively responsible experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or analytics roles involving large and complex data sets
- At least 4 years of demonstrated proficiency in SQL, including advanced query development, data modeling, and performance optimization within large relational databases
- Strong skills in MS Office applications, particularly Excel, with 5 years of experience
- 2 years of experience working with Epic systems, including Epic Clarity, with the ability to extract, interpret, and analyze data from Epic revenue cycle modules
