Junior Mobile App Developer (Entry-Level) - Part-Time Remote

Role Description This is a part-time, remote role for a Junior Mobile App Developer (Entry-Level / Associate) at Brighton Inspection. The Junior Mobile App Developer will assist in designing, developing, and maintaining mobile applications that support internal teams and client-facing solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing basic app features, writing clean and maintainable code, fixing bugs, and participating in code reviews under the guidance of senior developers. The role involves working with APIs and integrations, connecting mobile apps to databases, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to understand requirements and improve usability. The developer is expected to document work clearly, test features on multiple devices, and contribute to continuous improvement of the overall mobile experience.

Qualifications

• Foundational software development and programming skills, with exposure to mobile app development frameworks or languages (e.g., Java, Kotlin, Swift, Flutter, or React Native).
• Basic understanding of databases and data storage concepts, including working with queries, data models, and backend connectivity.
• Familiarity with Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) or similar styling concepts as applied to mobile or web-based interfaces.
• Introductory experience with integration, including consuming RESTful APIs, working with third-party services, and connecting mobile apps to backend systems.
