DevOps Engineer in UKRAINE

We are building a decentralized managed database marketplace. aka "Akash for cloud databases" or "Filecoin for Managed Databases" .

A decentralized database market where anyone can rent or sell managed private cloud databases using crypto pay masters.

This position is fully remote. Work hours are flexible, but our team is located all over the Europe so you will need to be available from 10:00 to 18:00 (GMT+2). Current team members are in US, London, Poland, Venezuela, Germany and Ukraine.

Here's What You'll Be Doing:

  • You will be in charge of processes, tools, and methodologies to balance needs throughout the software development life cycle, from coding and deployment, to maintenance and updates
  • Working closely with the internal development team to ensure project efficiency
  • Working independently without need in micromanagement


Requirements

Here are the skills you'll need: Minimum proficiencies, 1 year+ experience working with:

  • Javascript. We are building a cloud service so we will be automating deployment based on customer input configuration
  • Strong Kubernetes expertise
  • Strong Git expertise
  • Having experience deploying a Kubernetes cluster on bare metal with thinks like Talos is a plus
  • Strong knowledge of Terraform
  • Knowing Pulumi is a big plus
  • Multi cloud / Cross cloud deployment experience is a plus
  • Fluent English


Nice To Haves:

  • Experience and interest in Web3 and crypto
  • Experience leading a development team
  • Previous participation in Web3 Hackathons

Or more experimental stack : Ceramic / ComposeDB as a service https://developers.ceramic.network/docs/composedb/guides/composedb-server/running-in-the-cloud

It is a small startup so if you have skills that can span multiple roles this is a huge plus. We are also hiring for Solidity frontend and backend, so if you know whom to refer to, just let us know.
