Technical Lead - Java - Relocation to the UAE 🇦🇪
Our client is hiring a Technical Lead with strong experience with Java related to creating scalable data architectures to join their team. You will be one of the first members of their team, working with their clients to create scalable solutions. Experience with Stakeholder Management, distributed systems and real-time data would make you the ideal candidate!
**This is an on-site role in the UAE - must relocate from Europe - only apply if a relocation interests you**
Tech Stack:
Java, Python, REST, NoSQL, Kafka, Spark, AWS, Snowflake, GraphQL, Kubernetes, Docker
Salary:
45k-55k per month (135k - 160k euros per year Tax Free)
Relocation Support provided (medical insurance & VISA for you and the family)
What You'll Do:
- Work closely with the Data Governance teams to collaborate on securing data architecture
- Optimize data systems in relation to performance and scalability
- Design robust and scalable data architectures that support large-scale analytics
- Craft data models and integration processes
- Adopt big-data processing frameworks and cloud data solutions
- Architect real-time data solutions
- Collaborate and meet with stakeholders and end-clients to collect requirements and provide technical guidance
- Involve yourself in software engineering tasks with Java whilst guiding development teams
What You'll Need:
- 9+ years of engineering experience
- Proven leadership experience (3+ years of leading engineering teams)
- Exceptional stakeholder management experience
- Strong skills in; Java, Microservices, SQL, NoSQL, Kafka & Spark
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, AWS (or Azure), Terraform
- Previous project experience working on large-scale, distributed systems
- Experience working on integrations
- Knowledge of Domain Driven Design
- Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science, Mathematics, etc
