SAN Storage Administrator in POLAND

Title: SAN Administrator

Location: Warsaw, Poland - fully remote

Duration: 6 Months (Initial contract with possible extension)

Start date: ASAP

Rate: 250-300 EUR per day (negotiable depending on the experience)

Language: German and English are mandatory

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced German-speaking SAN Administrator to join our team on a 6-month contract, with the possibility of extension. This is a fully remote position based in Poland. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in SAN (Storage Area Network) administration, including configuration, troubleshooting, and resolving incident tickets. In addition, in-depth knowledge of network protocols and file system protocols is required.

Responsibilities:

• Configure and manage SAN infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and resolve incident tickets related to SAN issues.
• Perform SAN monitoring and optimization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operation of the SAN environment.
• Utilize scripting languages (PowerShell, Perl, Python) for automation and optimization tasks.
• Provide support for network protocols TCP/IP V4/V6.
• Manage and support file system protocols NFS V3, V4, 4.1, and CIFS/SMB V1, 2, and 3.
• Ensure high availability and performance of storage systems.

Requirements:

• Fluent in German (both written and spoken).
• Proven hands-on experience in SAN administration.
• In-depth knowledge of network protocol TCP/IP V4/V6.
• In-depth knowledge of file system protocols NFS V3, V4, 4.1, and CIFS/SMB V1, 2, and 3.
• Experience in optimization, monitoring, and automation using scripting languages such as PowerShell, Perl, and Python.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve technical issues effectively.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently in a remote work environment.
