Our client, a well known organisation within the logistics space, is looking for an experienced Automation Test Engineer to join a multi-disciplinary squad of Backend, Frontend, Mobile and Product specialists to ensure the quality and user-friendliness of products by meticulously testing new features and creating automated tests for them

As an Automation Test Engineer, you will:

• Design and execute comprehensive test plans for User Journeys on web and mobile that will be automated by yourself and the teams.
• Create well-structured and repeatable test scripts
• Conduct thorough use case testing, ensuring all product user flows function as intended according to user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Perform smoke and regression testing to ensure stability after code changes and updates.
• Leverage your experience with AWS to set up and configure testing environments on cloud platforms.
• Identify and document bugs and defects clearly and concisely, including detailed reproduction steps and expected behaviour.
• Collaborate with developers to reproduce and resolve identified issues effectively.
• Conduct and analyse cross-browser and cross-device testing for different devices and operating systems.

Required experience:

• 5+ years experience building automation tests in Python and JavaScript in applications with over 1m users
• Knowledge of configuring testing environments on AWS
• Be able to test both web and mobile applications
• Experience using tools like Selenium, Appium, Cypress and Jest
