Unified Communications Engineer
Robert Half Technology is seeking a Unified Communications Engineer in Lafayette, Louisiana. This role is Hybrid in Lafayette, Louisiana. The successful candidate will have extensive experience handling Cisco WebEx Calling, Cisco WebEx Control Hub, and Cisco IP Phone endpoints and accessories, Voice Circuits, Gateways and more. This role does not support relocation, sponsorship or C2C engagements.
Summary:
The Unified Communications Collaboration (UCC) Engineer is responsible for the configuration, administration, and troubleshooting of all unified communications, contact center, and collaboration platforms throughout the enterprise to meet the functional objectives of the business. The position will require an advanced understanding of call flow scripting including the ability to complete programmatic call flow creations.
Responsibilities:
• Engage in the configuration and management of Cisco WebEx Control Hub and Cisco IP Phone endpoints and accessories.
• Handle tasks related to voice circuits like SIP, POTS, PRI, and voice gateways like Cisco UBE.
• Manage the Dictation system and the RightFax Enterprise system.
• Show proficiency in skills such as Configuration Management and Active Directory.
• Handle computer hardware issues and display proficiency in Cisco UC.
• Expertly utilize Cisco WebEx, Rightfax Enterprise System, SIP, and Voice Gateway.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve issues related to the above-mentioned systems and technologies
Requirements:
• Proficiency in Cisco Technologies is required
• Experience with Active Directory is essential
• Familiarity with Computer Hardware is needed
• Knowledge of Configuration Management is required
• Expertise in Cisco UC is desirable
• Experience with Cisco WebEx is required
• Familiarity with Rightfax is required
• Knowledge of SIP, POTS, PRI is desirable
• Experience with Voice Gateway is required
