Bedrock Game Developer in NETHERLANDS

We're seeking a skilled Minecraft Bedrock Developer to join our growing team. You will work on some of the largest, most ambitious projects in Bedrock, collaborating with some of the most talented professionals in the industry.

What you will do

• Develop, plan, and manage gameplay systems for large-scale Minecraft Bedrock Edition projects.
• Partner with other developers to design and integrate various gameplay systems.
• Collaborate with other teams like art, animation, sound, QA etc. to help implement assets to create cohesive gaming experiences.
• Communicate technical systems, limitations, and new technologies to relevant stakeholders.
• Research and develop groundbreaking systems to push the boundaries of what’s possible in Minecraft Bedrock.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure smooth gameplay experiences.

Requirements

• Strong technical understanding of Minecraft Bedrock Edition.
• Extensive experience using JavaScript and/or TypeScript and the Minecraft Bedrock scripting API.
• Proven track record of developing projects on Minecraft Bedrock Edition.
• Proficient in using Git for version control.
• Experience on the Minecraft Marketplace.
• Preferred: Knowledge of Minecraft commands and functions.
• Preferred: Experience with project management tools like Linear, GitHub Issues, Jira, etc.
• Bonus: Background in technical art, including asset implementation and optimization.
• Bonus: Experience developing tools to assist in the creation of gaming projects.
