About The Role

We're on the lookout for a passionate Backend Engineer who thrives in building innovative products and enjoys the flexibility of remote work. You'll play a pivotal role in expanding our AI capabilities to millions of users globally. Our users range from sales teams to operations managers—all looking to streamline their workflows and decision-making processes.

In this position, you'll dive deep into the development of new AI features, directly engaging with users to understand their needs and crafting solutions that significantly enhance their work efficiency. You'll collaborate closely with our engineering team, contributing to the ongoing improvement and expansion of our AI platform and overall backend. This is a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of AI technology, making a tangible impact on people's work lives.

In This Role, You Will:

• Develop new AI features and products from concept to launch, working fully remotely.
• Develop backend capabilities to integrate cutting-edge AI technologies and expand our platform's capabilities.
• Engage directly with users to gather insights and feedback, driving the evolution of our platform.
• Participate in a dynamic, remote work environment that values flexibility, innovation, and rapid prototyping.
• Contribute to a culture that is diverse, inclusive, and fosters growth and collaboration.

Your Background Should Include:

• +1 Experience in AI engineering, backend engineering, or related fields, preferably in tech and product-driven environments. Or equivalent academic experience (major in computer science or on-going master's degree)
• Strong proficiency in programming languages relevant to AI development, such as Python (mainly using FastAPI).
• Experience integrating various APIs and databases, with a keen interest in expanding this knowledge.
• Comfortable working remotely and capable of managing time effectively in a fully distributed team.
• Enthusiastic about working in a fast-paced, innovative environment and eager to contribute to a team that aims to make a significant impact on work efficiency and happiness.

Nice to have

• A track record of developing and launching AI-driven features or products;
• Knowledge of cloud providers (AWS) and CI/CD pipelines;
• Experienced with test-driven development;
• Practice good design patterns, such as SOLID, DRY and KIS;
• Experience with relational databases and vector databases;
