Agile Demand Manager in ROMANIA

About the role: Our client is a global retail traveler; this role is part of their e-commerce (online stores, loyalty program); the ecosystem comprises numerous platform components (websites, mobile app, inventory management system, order management system etc.) and teams, around 50 people in total.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure successful completion of all demand-related tasks
• Define, implement, and continuously improve demand management processes, including:
• Submission
• Qualification
• Assignment to the appropriate development team(s)
• Follow-up for delivery
• Develop and implement reports and dashboards to provide transparency into the demand backlog across various products, trends, and the current pipeline
• Serve as the single point of contact for demand status communication
• Define and implement demand-related metrics as part of the overall quality assurance plan (e.g., aging, lead time)
• Establish relevant criteria, formulas, and categories to support objective demand prioritization
• Facilitate and actively participate in demand prioritization meetings with relevant stakeholder groups

What are we looking for:

• Proven experience as a Product Owner
• Strong understanding of backlog management and stakeholder management processes
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, including the ability to gain stakeholder buy-in, manage expectations, and align teams and roles
• Experience in managing multiple projects, filters, dashboards, and reports in Jira/DevOps
• Preferably, experience with programs or platforms that involve coordinating and aligning multiple teams, beyond a single project
• Ideally, possess ITIL or SCRUM certification
