Systems Engineer - Flight Management Systems

We have an opportunity for a Systems Engineer - Flight Management Systems to join our Honeywell team in Krakow.

You will become a part of the Flight Management Systems (FMS) team that designs, develops, and integrates an intelligent aircraft control system capable of planning, controlling, and monitoring aircraft flight, allowing you to develop knowledge in an exciting industry segment. The Honeywell FMS is part of the on-board avionics’ cockpit in many aircraft including Boeing, Airbus, Dassault and is integrated into many off-board solutions. Key Responsibilities

  • Requirement definition, design, and analysis of Flight Management System, including formal documentation.
  • Design, execution and analysis of tests for validation and verification of the system functions according to the system and software requirements.
  • Collaboration with domestic and international engineering teams and customers.
  • Cooperation with Flight Management Systems teams in implementation and usage of engineering processes including adjustment and updates of the processes, work instructions, trainings, and user support.
  • Attending and passing all required trainings

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Avionics.
  • At least 2 years’ experience in systems engineering type roles, strongly preferred is the knowledge of aerospace Control Systems.
  • Experience with Python and knowledge or exposure using Git and/or JIRA.
  • Excellent command of English language
  • Team player, quick learner with excellent communication skills
