Job Description
Location & Work Arrangement
- Remote / Work from home position
- Must be based in Klang Valley to attend one team meeting per week
- Opportunity to own and drive the QA automation strategy in a mature automation test environment, with a focus on further optimization and implementation of best practices
- Gain leadership and management experience by leading two junior QAs involved in both manual and automation testing efforts
- Work with an AI-native tech product company headquartered in Malaysia, recently secured USD 15 million in new funding to support expansion across Asia
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable automation testing frameworks within a Typescript-based ecosystem
- Implement a range of automated testing approaches including visual regression testing,

- Lead and mentor two junior QA engineers, guiding their transition towards automation testing and fostering a strong, automation-focused QA culture within the team
- Proven experience in developing automation testing strategies, optimizing, and scaling test coverage
- Proficiency with automation tools such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, Puppeteer, etc.
- Early career experience as a software engineer or hands-on automation experience in start-ups, scale-ups, or smaller QA/testing teams where you implemented automation best practices
- Malaysian tech-first product company established for 10 years, experiencing rapid growth
- Led by a leadership team, including a CEO with IPO experience
- Provides a suite of Health-Tech products to enterprise customers across Southeast Asia
- Operates on a SaaS business model with strong customer retention and growth, supported by recent new funding
