About the job  

As Software Architect in the Creative Automation team you will work to keep the Engineering organization focused and steer the teams in the right direction, we are looking for an architect to join the team and work with principal Engineers, Engineering Managers, and the department as a whole to help drive the technology and architecture in the company. We are looking for an engineering leader who can drive the architecture and technical capabilities to the next level, capable of supporting on ongoing growth and strategy 

Key responsibilities: 

  • Cross-Domain Architecture Design: Design and implement architectures across business and technology domains.
  • Architectural Vision: Formulate and communicate the overarching architectural vision, aligning with business objectives and product strategy including risk management and compliance
  • Innovation Leadership: Drive innovation and technology evolution within the team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technological advancement
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to ensure architectural solutions meet product and technological needs. Be the "to-go" person for architecture questions.
  • Lead best practices development in engineering for the entire organization by helping to solve complex and ambiguous product strategy challenges.


Requirements

  • Extensive experience building and operating large, Internet-scale applications and distributed systems spanning multiple platforms and front & back end services
  • 3+ years as a principal / staff engineer (or equivalent) in a B2B SaaS Environment 
  • Ability to build strong trust based relationships with engineers, product leaders, and key business stakeholders. 
  • Extensive experience with databases data modeling - both RDBMS and NoSQL 
  • Strong understanding of cloud technologies and emerging technologies including AI
  • Excellent English communication skills 
  • Are a team player able to coach and guide others

 Nice to have:  

  • Have affinity with rendering technologies
  • Understanding of DAMs and Asset Management   
  • Experience with DevOps / GCP based infrastructures
