Responsibilities

• Design, deploy and manage cloud infrastructure solutions on platforms such as Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform and others.
• Collaborate with software engineers, DevOps teams, and other stakeholders to define infrastructure requirements and implement best practices for cloud-based applications.
• Develop automation scripts and tools to streamline provisioning, configuration, and monitoring of cloud resources.
• Ensure the security and compliance of cloud environments by implementing robust access controls, encryption mechanisms, and regular security assessments.
• Monitor the performance and availability of cloud services, responding to incidents and optimizing resources to maintain high levels of uptime.
• Implement disaster recovery and backup strategies to ensure data integrity and business continuity.

Requirements

• Possess a degree in Computer Science, Information technology or related field
• Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and technologies
• Hands-on experience with implementing solutions on Amazon Web Services with regards to services such as compute, storage, database, network and security
• Proficient in Infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible for automating cloud resource provisioning and management.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with cloud monitoring, logging, and performance optimization tools to ensure effective resource utilization and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of security best practices and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating security risks in cloud environments.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile team environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English with relevant stakeholders.
• Possess a AWS Certification (AWS Developer Associate, AWS Solutions Architect or other relevant certifications)
